Lavigne, Avril - Let Go
MP3 - Arista - 2002

Pretty generic pop-rock
Lawnmower Deth - Mower Liberation Front
Lawnmower Deth - Mower Liberation Front
Metal Duck - Quack Em All
LP - RKT Records - CMO192 - 1988 - Back To Back Albums

An Odd LP shared by Comedy Metal acts Metal Duck & Lawmower Deth.  One side each.  Metal Duck has a much more Punk Influence while Lawnmower Deth is more Thrash.
Lawnmower Deth - Ooh Crikey It's
LP/CDR - Earache Records - MOSH 25 - 1990 - Looped Audio on Side A Run Out Groove

While not especially talented, Lawnmower Deth have a great sense of humour that makes their strange brew of metal very entertaining.
Lawnmower Deth - The Return Of The Fabulous Metal Bozo Clowns
CDR - Earache Records - 1999

Better production & more varied musical styles make this album a great listen
Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin
LP/CDR - Atlantic - K40031 - 1969 - Orange Cover Text

Led Zeppelin are legends of rock that shouldn't need any introduction.  Along with Black Sabbath they are the nucleus that created all the heavy rock & metal that followed.  Some great traditional blues here alongside more regular Led Zep rock.
Led Zeppelin - II
LP/CDR - Atlantic - K40037 - 1969 - Gatefold

More stonking heavy rock & blues, basic but effective
Led Zepplin III Led Zeppelin - III
LP/CDR - Atlantic - K50002 - 1970 - Cutout Wheel Cover / Gatefold

The pace picks up a little here with a more produced sound.
Led Zepplin Four Symbols Led Zeppelin
CD - Atlantic / Warner Musiic - CA851 - 1971
LP - Atlantic / Warner Communications - K5008 - 1971

Released under a title of obscure symbols this album effectively remains untitled in discographies but is most commonly known as 'Four Symbols'.  Strangely, this was the last Zeppelin album to make it into my collection & yet it arguably it features their most famous releases such as Black Dog & Stairway to Heaven.
Led Zeppelin - Houses of the Holy
LP/CDR - Atlantic / Warner - K50014 - 1973 - Gatefold

A bit of an oddball this one.  Different to early material, Houses Of The Holy experiments greatly with different time signature & sounds that at first sounds a bit odd, but later proves to be very enjoyable.
Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti
LPx2/CDRx2 - Swan Song / Atlantic - SSK89400 - 1975 - Cutout Cover / Includes Tracksheet

I can't help feeling this album was a little over cooked.  There is some grat stuff here but ultimately I think it would have been a better album if some of the chaff was junked & the album condensed into a regular length instead of the double disc effort.
Led Zeppelin - In Through The Out Door
Led Zeppelin - In Through The Out Door
LP - Swan Song / Atlantic - 8122796574 - 1975 - 180g Pressing / Paper Bag Outer Cover

Don't know this album so well as only picked it up recently.  Strangely the LP is dated 1975 despite being recorded & released several years later.
Led Zeppelin - Remasters I

Compilation of popular Led Zep tracks.  CD doesn't really do Led Zeppin justice, far better to pick up vinyl copies where you can.
Leftfield - Rhythm & Stealth
MP3 - Sony - 1999

Some great electronica here
with ejoyable pumping basslines.  I enjoy listening to this much more now than when it was released.  Probably because it was a little overplayed at the time.
Lennox, Annie - Diva
MP3 - 1992

Some great solo tracks from the Eurythmics vocalist gone solo.
Level 42 - World Machine
MP3 - Polydor - 1985

Cheesy rock with some great funky bass.
Level 42 - Running in the Family - Platinum Edition
LP/CDR - Polydor - POLHB42 / 833-690-1 - 1987 - Remix Album

This is quite an enjoyable remix album that puts a little more pep into the tracks.  I much prefer this to the more sedate regular albums.
Level 42 - Running In The Family
MP3 - Polydor - 1987

More cheesy, funky rock.  It's the keyboards that provide the cheese, they date so quickly.
LFO - LFO Remix
12" - Warp Records - WAP-5R - 1990

Pretty legendary dance track in its day.  A clever marketing campaign claimed this to be the first dance track to use sub-bass (it wasn't incedentally), cue some humorous TV news spots about most music systems being incapable or reproducing the stunning basslines. This is a great track though & should be in every dance, techno or rave fans collection.
Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory
MP3 - Warner Bros - 2000

Struggled to get into this skater metal.  There's nothing wrong with it but nothing that particularly grab you either.
Linkin Park - Meteora
MP3 - Warner Bros - 2003

More average skater metal
Lovage - Music to make love to your old lady by Lovage - Music To Make Love To Your Old Lady By
CD - Ark Records / Pinnacle - AKCD5052 - 2001

An odd Mike Patton Project of the Hi Hop variety.  Surprisingly good considering the tongue in cheek approach.
Love Forever Changes
Love - Forever Changes
CD - Elektra / Rhino / Warner - 8122-73537-2 - 1967 (2001) - Remastered & Expanded

Awesome 60's psychedelic rock - This re-issue comes with 7 bonus tracks & an outer card case
Phil Lynott - Yellow Pearl
Lynott, Phil - Yellow Pearl
CD - Spectrum / Universal - SPEC2042 - 2010

Compilation of Phil Lynott tracks from the Yellow Pearl & Gary Moore era.
